Les Miserables: Shoujo Cosette= Imagine some Japanese guys got their hands on the story of Les Miserables, then imagine they decided to take that story which definitely is not for children and they decided to adapt it to make it kid friendly. That's exactly what this is, surprisingly though it's quiet good. The story is kept as close to the source as possible considering the age of the intended audience. The most fascinating thing about this adaptation is that the story revolves more around Cosette than Jean Valjean. Recommended highly to fans of Les Miserables who aren't complete purists and are open to adaptations.
